Founded in 1955, the Society is an informal non-profit making club of about 65 members and meets every
Tuesday between September and June.

Since its formation, it has seen many changes in photographic styles and technique.
The original aims of the Society, to encourage and advance all aspects of still photography, are as relevant today
as they were then.

Our members are always pleased to share their skills & knowledge for the benefit of other members.

There are more than 40 meetings during the year;  Illustrated Talks
Competitions for members of all abilities in both prints and projected images
Discussions and Technique Demonstrations
Social Events and Activities for all Members
